Welcome to Amma’s Shree Rajarajeshwari Panchayathna Kshetra and Varaveera Abhayanjaneya Ayyappa Swamy Temple, a divine spiritual hub located in Jeedimetla, Shapur Nagar, near Fox Sagar Katta in Subhash Nagar, Hyderabad. This sacred site has a deep spiritual legacy, built on unwavering faith, devotion, and a profound commitment to service.
Founded under the visionary guidance of Smt. Venkata Varalakshmi, the wife of Late Bodduri Veerabhadra Krishnamachari, a dedicated Panchdasi Upasaka and an ardent devotee of Goddess Lalitha Devi , this temple holds a special place in the hearts of devotees. Smt. Varalakshmi undertook a monumental pilgrimage to Sabarimala by "Paadha Yatra" under the divine guidance of "Daivaagnya" (Maathaji). Following her footsteps, the temple’s spiritual leadership continues to flourish under her successors, including Bodduri Narasimhachari wife, Smt. Thanuja, and the learned temple scholars such as Sri Sri Trikala Bhairavaswami Acharya, who lead the religious services with devotion and reverence. The foundation stone of this sacred Punya Kshetra was laid on November 21, 2010, marking the beginning of a divine journey. After overcoming countless challenges and adversities, the temple was consecrated on March 22, 2014, standing as a symbol of unwavering faith, dedication, and perseverance. All the temple’s activities, including its construction and ongoing services, have been managed solely through the personal funds and commitment of the Dharma Karthas and their family, without any public solicitation for donations.Every year, grand celebrations take place to honor Ammavaru, particularly during her anniversaries on March 20, 21, and 23. The most notable event was held on December 14, 2022, where the Gaja Ambari Seva, Navachandi Mahayagam, and a grand Anna Sandharpana (food offering) took place, drawing numerous devotees and receiving the divine blessings of Goddess Amma Sri Rajarajeshwari.
Alaya dharmakartha and his family went to Shirdi. From there, unexpectedly, they visited a shop to buy an idol of Dattatreya. In spite of taking the Dattatreya idol, they purchased Ammavaru’s idol. Smt. Varalaxmi refused to take the idol. Then, Ammavaru came beside a lady and said, "I wanted to come with you, and you are saying no to me." Then Matha said, "I can't bear you, I can't handle you, and now you're saying you will come with me.
They took the idol on Wednesday, and Matha thought to herself, "If you are a powerful idol, you have to sit in my pooja room on Friday at 4 AM." Ammavaru is so powerful, she came and sat in the pooja room early Friday morning at 4 o'clock.
Matha called a priest, and upon seeing the idol, he told them that such a big-sized idol should not be placed inside the house.
Dharmakarthas decided to keep the Ammavaru idol in the company. Then Ammavaru came upon dharmakartha’s second daughter and said, "I came here with you for peace, and you people will throw me in dust. I have decided where I want to sit.
Dharmakarthas bought land in their son’s name a month before going to Shirdi. Ammavaru arranged everything and came to sit in that place. They also acquired that land on Saptami. Ammavaru herself said everything to the dharmakarthas, and they followed her instructions.
The temple is uniquely located near the ancient Fox Sagar Pushkarani, which dates back to the British period. Devotees who visit this sacred Kshetra, perform 21 pradakshinas (circumambulations), and offer their prayers (Mudupu) are said to have their desires fulfilled immediately by the grace of the Goddess. A remarkable aspect of this location is the presence of an ancient Shiva temple within the Pushkarini, which becomes visible when the waters of the sacred Shiva Teertha recede. An intriguing phenomenon in the area is the presence of divine serpents, known as Swetha Naagu. After observing these manifestations, the temple trustees installed the idol of Manasadevi, the presiding deity of Nagaloka. Devotees who perform rituals such as Navanagarchana, Ashlesha Sarvashanti, and Poojas are believed to be cured of various Kalasarpa doshas, with their problems related to marriage, finances, and enemies resolved by the divine powers of the temple. At the heart of the Kshetra lies the Gurudatta Peta, where idols of revered spiritual figures such as Dattatreya, Potuluri Veera Brahmendraswamy, Malika Purottam, and deities like Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Saibaba have been installed. These installations have further enhanced the temple's spiritual significance and continue to draw devotees from all over.
At the center of the temple stands a magnificent 11-foot high Shivalinga, enshrined with 108 Narmada arrows and surrounded by deities such as Vishnu Durga, Goddess Maha Pratyangira, and Saraswati. This holy temple is believed to be a place of immense spiritual power, offering blessings to all those who seek its divine grace.
With the blessings of the Ashtasiddhas, this sacred Kshetra is revered for granting peace, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment to all its visitors. We humbly invite all devotees to visit the temple, receive darshan, and participate in the various rituals that bring divine blessings into their lives.
